My name is Ekaterina Evdokimova. I’m a child psychologist and the founder of PsyCompass, the psychological practice which is passionate about working with children with special needs and in difficult situation (such as expat’s experiences, learning difficulties, family issues). I studied at St. Petersburg State University’s Faculty of Psychology, Department of Special Psychology, from 1996 to 2001. In 2015, the Master Degree I achieved in St. Petersburg was recognized by The Centre of Expertise for International Credential Evaluation (SBB and Nuffic) as being equivalent to a Dutch Master Degree in Psychology.

During my practical work with children with special needs and children in difficult situations from 1999 to 2009 in Russia and since 2015 in The Netherlands, I gained solid experience in working directly with children and their families. I help them develop their cognitive, social and emotional skills and overcome learning and other difficulties through techniques such as counselling, art therapy and sand therapy.
